I cant believe its been five years already. Some things feel like they “just happened” no matter how long ago it was. Five years and I still remember his scent as he said hi. I should have known it would all come back eventually. It was the best week of my life. Only one week, but it was a week I will never forget. It was one week that changed my life …

Everything started on the beach. I had my eyes closed standing at the end of the pier, just smelling the salt water and hearing the crash of the waves against the rocks and the break. All he did was say hi, but I had to keep my eyes closed, thought it was one of those guys who only go there for bothering, when I didnt open my eyes, he thought I didnt hear him, he came closer and said hi again. I never thought such a small word could have such power over me; maybe it was a handsome guy looking for a nice girl, so I opened my eyes :D a handsome boy of beautiful eyes and curly hair was looking at me, he smiled at me, I couldn’t believe this was happening to me!. I said hi and the conversation just started, He told me that he was on his way to lunch. We walked to the end of the pier before realizing we didn’t know where we were going. I suggested the seafood on the corner and we continued to walk in silence for a few minutes. I opened my mouth to say something, anything, when he introduces himself to me. It was better than what I was going to say*-). His name was George. By the time we reached the restaurant for lunch, I felt like I had known him my whole life. In just one hour we had gone from nervous silence to relaxed conversation. While waiting for the food, i toold him about my spontaneous trip here to the beach. Lunch was over too quickly and George paid for the bill after my repeated attempts to at least split it. He told me for my time, the least he could do was buy me lunch. He laughed when i told him thank you and blush like a little girl, hee had the greatest laugh and all I wanted to do was hear it again. It was like nothing else mattered as long as he was happy:D
After lunch, we crossed the street and walked over to the beach, we talked some more, there were so many things that amazed me and impressed me about him. The first night when we were walking back to my hotel, we were talking like two people that had just met that day, we got to the door of my hotel and this is when things went in a direction I never thought they would. I thanked him for inviting me to lunch and the he asked me if we could meet up the next day!, it was unbelievable, I said yes, probably I little too fast, but I said it. Things had been going well all day, but what was I going to do with a guy that i just met on the pier.

We spent all the next day together just walking around and talking, night came upon us quickly and neither one of us noticed, I dragged him over to the beach so that we could just walk along the edge, the sunset was beautiful, I closed my eyes to experience the night through all my senses, then it happened he kissed me, I kissed him back again <3>

The last night that we saw each other he walked me back to the hotel. It seemed like everything was going the same as it had been the entire week. He leaned in to kiss me goodnight and I stopped him. I didn’t want the night to end like this : ( i invited him in and we walked into my hotel room. We got a little ridiculous because we both looked each other and laughed. We spent the entire night holding each other until we fell asleep. I stayed awake for a while thinkin if I was in love with this guy and never told him, I looked at him, he was asleep, I leaned over to his ear and whispered “I love you”, even if he never heard me say it, I knew I told him. I woke up the next morning, he wasn’t there, then I saw the note on the pillow, it said: “I love you too and I’ll find you again”… After 5 years, I return to the place whhere all began. As I reach the pier the sun’s setting light colors my vision, and the horizon is getting darker waiting for the moon to rise. One more time for memory’s sake I walk to the end of the pier again. I close my eyes…. suddenly I hear a whisper in my ear. “I told you I’d find you again” ..<3

Once upon a time, there was this couple, they were in love and their names were Chris and Alexa. They spent all day next to each other. Their families didn't like the idea because they knew they were young and really didn't know what real love means, but the more you tell them to stay away, the more they will see each other (sneaking out, of course).

One day, they went out just to take a walk, she was very quiet, so he asked her if she needed something, but she said she was okay. He kept insisting if she was okay, until she decided to say what was wrong. She putted a look in her face that made him freak out, so she told him to sit down. A moment of silence came, but then she told him, she was pregnant. He freaked out and told her he was not ready for this, and he would not take care of the baby. She started crying so she walked away.

The girl told her family about the baby, and the family was 100% supportive. The day after that, the boy went to her house to apologize and told her he didn't mean what he said, he just said that because he was really scared about the future, but he would take care of the baby 100% and will try to be as good father as he could be. Months later, Ashley's belly started growing, so she had to tell her friends. The friends were in shock but would stick together forever. Now, Ashley had to tell her principal, she was very scared. Then, when she went to the principal's office, he was totally cool and told her she could stay in school, but she could take a break to let the baby born, and her friends could take her homeworks to the hospital so she won't miss anything. Ashley was very happy about this.

They knew they were so in love that they could have their own family. They decided they should get married, so they got married at an amazing beach, the wedding was so beautiful. Their families were so proud of them, because they were all mature and knew what they wanted. Even getting pregnant was an accident, they knew they wanted to keep the baby, get married and take care of their family.

After the baby was born, they bought a house, they finished their school, he got a job, and they are a family now. The baby is all grown up, and she goes to school now, kindergarten. Even is not cool for teenagers to have babies, it is cool that if this happens, they take care of the baby, and each other :)

It was a shinig goo day with none of a cloud in sight. The hunters were out there in the fields helped by their dogs to catch their preys. They werew happy as ever.It was a good day for the hunters. They had catched two antilopes and various swanks.

There they start feeling a bad feeling. They felt a reaaly cold feeling in their spine.They all looked to each other and decided to wrap up everything and decided to return to their log.Once in their log they start drinking hot chocolate and started to tell speeches jokes that even Barack Obama will found breath taking.

The next day they decided to go hunting again but they felt that bone-chilling feeling again. But they didnt mind it too much and departed. The dogs felt with unease all the time like if something bad was gonna happen. And all of a sudden a big ice stormed started . The four hubters returned to their logs and closed the windows to stop the ice from entering the cabin.


The next day the stormed had stopped. All the ice from the storm leaved a mountain of ice of 35 inches leaving te hunters trapped under the ice inside the cabin. The hunters managed to make a hole through the ice. Wich letted the dogs get out of the cabin to go for help. The dogs left with a note around their neck. So the hunters waited,


They waited for days and days. They lost all the hopes of surviving. They were eating all the reserves they had. The had no more food left. They tought that the dogs forgot about them and lost all hopes. But it wasnt until two days later that the dogs came back with all rthe rescue team to help them. That was the last time they went on vacations

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Julie who was always curious about everything. She would always think about all that surrounded her and ask herself why or how did it happen. Why would flowers smell, how would clouds form, why was sand the color it was, how could the sea be heard when you put a shell next to your ear, and many other curious questions.
But one day, she went walking down the park, which was as green as could be, had an enormous playground and a huge space to relax, birds always sang, and people were nice and friendly; there she was, walking across the swings and passing by some benches, where she would always find couples, hugging, others walking and holding hands, or one of them giving a tiny peck to the other one, having a great time. Julie could see all of them were having a great time together, but whenever she saw them, another thought would come to her mind, but this time, a different one, one that by its sight, meant more than the rest of the doubts she have ever had, "what's love?"...
A few days later, Julie dared to ask her mom what it was, but she only answered "You'll be learning little by little as you grow up", then she caressed her hair gently and left. She had never had a doubt without an answer, for what she thought that this could've been a special one, and she would have to discover it herself. After a while, she remembered she had a friend named Jack whom she would always get along and had a great time with, which made her wonder if that had something to do with her question in some way.
Days passed, and so the years; Julie was now almost a teenager and had left all of her good memories in the past, like moving to a different house, changing of school, friends, and life in order to live her future, and still, with the same old doubt that roamed around her mind since she was a little girl. Even though ambiance would be different at her new school, people seemed to be pretty much the same she has always been with, talking about personality. Julie would rather be by herself, which she really didn't care of, and decided to focus on what she wanted to know.
One windy day outside at recess, she sat on the grass by a tree, reading her notes, when a sheet of paper hit her face due to the wind. She took it off with one hand, when she heard an "I'm sorry", which by the way it sounded, it surely came from a guy. "It's ok" she said with a lightly smile looking at him, when she noticed that it was Jack, her very best company from childhood.
Both looked at each other for a moment, not believing what they were seeing. "Julie?" he said, "it's me, Jack!"; she then got up and hugged him, like if it had been a self-impulse. He hugged her back, both seemed very happy. "I can't believe it's you!" said Julie, "nor I can" he said. After that, they sat next to each other the whole recess, talking about what had been of their lives and everything that would come to their lives; time just wasn't enough. A few days after, Julie waited for Jack outside as she used to from now on, but he didn't appear so she waited and did so for the next days. Sometimes he would come, sometimes not, saying he was busy with stuff. But later on she noticed she wasn't the only one Jack would hang out with like it all was before, which would leave her with a sense of deppresion and a little bit of jealousy, feelings she found strange to feel since it had never happened. She would sometimes see him with other girls, maybe from his classroom, having a great time with them just as he used to have with her.
With the time, she realized maybe he didn't need her anymore. And that's why she decided to change of school before even getting to half of middle school there, until loosing complete contact with him.
A couple of years more passed, Julie was now in high school and a complete teenager. The school she changed to was close to a beach, and the park she used to go to was no longer of her existence, and by that she decided to go there, just like in the old times.
Once there, she noticed a lot of things had changed, the playground where she found other kids playing didn't look as new and conserved as it was, rather old and dusty; some of the benches where some oldies sat were rusty and paint would keep falling off, nothing was as green as it used to, but some grass and trees remained or at least still looked alive. And yes, one thing for sure, that couldn't be missed, were the couples walking along and spending time together, which seemed to be the only thing that wouldn't die there.
She looked at all that ambiance with dissapointment, to see how much it all had changed since she wasn't there, knowing what was going on. Sad and deppressed, she went back home, but not before heading to the beach and spending some time there for a while. Standing on one of the sides of the pier, looking at the sunset and listening to the birds that were there by that hour and how the sea seemed to increase over the sand. She was quiet, thinking about all the things that have been going on and the way she felt she was changing, specifically on that day at middle school when she found Jack and how her perspective about him seemed to change.
Julie never thought feeling so confused and for a strange reason, lonely in her life, as she tried letting it go with each sigh she let out until she felt two last steps behind her. "Um...hi, Julie" the guy who was behind her said, whose voice seemed pretty much familiar, but much deeper. Julie stood there for a little moment, then slowly turned around, and saw the pretty well-done hair which used to be combed like an egg head, those eyes that remained the same sparkle she used to see when she was little, a tall, fit body that used to look skinny and weak, and that face which still even grown-up, could be recognizable no matter what, and much harder for her to forget since he was someone in her life. "Jack...?" she said, he nodded "Yes...I've been looking after you for the past four years, I never knew about you anymore since the last time you changed of school". She looked down a little and said "I thought maybe you didn't care about me anymore...", "And why woudln't I?", "Because...well, I felt as if you had left me apart for, you know, the rest, i mean..", "Julie... are you trying to tell me that...you were jealous?", she sighed and said "Yes...", "But, they were just friends, and nothing else, besides...nothing could replace what I feel for someone else that I know from long ago, and which reason that I looked for her for so much is that I'm here for", Julie looked at him then and said "What do you mean?", "I think you'll know what I mean", he then cupped her chin and brought her face close to his slowly, kissing her softly.
"I love you, Julie" he said in a gently way, " I always did, but never realized how much until now".
Both looked at each other for a while, she couldn't believe it, and at the same time noticed he had gone through the same question she had always lived by, but that in that moment, she finally understood. "I love you too Jack" she said, as both hugged and watched the sunset together.

I lay in bed next to her. Comforting her as we wait the end. I can see, she's slowly fading, wasting away. What kind of a grueling task has god set before me? What's his plan? Taking my only daughter away from me in the most horrible way. I know he's trying to tell me something with this. I don't know what it is, still. Im trying to comprehend why he wants her home.

What will I do without her? She's the only reason I live for, she is the only reason I'm a alive. I live for her, I eat for her, I breath for her. And when she's gone, what will I have left? Memories?Pictures? Videos?

She was born into a world of evil, but I was well prepeared to teach her about the world, so she could grow up to be a beautiful and honest young lady. Do you remember god? Do you remember when you decided to place her in my life? I thought you were punishing me for it, I thought my life was going to end. I was only 18, jobless and practically homeless. I thought of the live that my child will have with me. But when she was born, oh what a blessing she was. She shined like a sunny winter day, she was gorgeous. She could make me smile even on my saddest days.

Until she got sick, that light in her eyes was suddenly gone, she was tired, she is tired.

She was just 4 years old at the time god, why so young? why her? why my beautiful baby? She fights with courage, she tries her best, now 4 years later, she cant go on. She's tired. Oh god, if you are truly merciful please take her now, can't you see she's in pain? can't you see she's uncomfortable? can't you see she's ready? But still somehow she lingers, she lingers as if she's afraid to leave someone behind. As if she's afraid to leave me behind. I wish I could tell her that I'm ready, that I let her go. But I'd be lying and I dont want to lie to her. And she knows i'll be lying. She knows, she knows it all. I try to talk to her, but no words come out of my mouth, im numb, tears roll down my cheeks, I cant control myself anymore. I'm lossing my child, my only child. My reason for living. I've done what I could to save her, but everything has been worthless, has it? If she goes, she will be pain free. She's surely too much for this world.

I lay in bed next to her. Caressing her hair and kissing her brow. My sweet little girl, go my angel and soar in heavens.God, set her pain free, make her change of universe. See, several of her dreams will come true, she will be able to fly. She loves birds, she will be the most beautiful one. She will make shapes with the clouds as she flies through the skies.

This sickness may control her body, but not her spirit. Riase her sould from this body, the body that has fail her. And make her reborn in a new one, a permanent one, a cancer free one. Just do that please, set her free.

She opens her eyes, and gives me her last smile. She's gone, she's painfree "Go and open your wings like a beautiful butterfly in springtime" I tell her "Soar the skies my child, I will see you again soon, you'll see" I hold her close to me, I kiss her and hug her. I try to tell her how much I love her and that I loved being her mother. I'm glad that you gave me the chance to know her. I'm glad that you picked me to raise this beautiful little angel. But as they say, the good die young, now I believe it. Finally, you set her free, now please give the strength to go through this. Help me with my grieving.

Plase let her visit me in my dreams, while I sleep, but that will have its downside. I will spend all night with her, and when I wake up, day will be the nightmare.

We all know that school is boring, but we must attend to it, even if we don’t want to, so if all of us know that school is boring wy we don’t do it a little bit more interesting and fun. Following my simple but wise steps youll be able to be happy at school. Im sure that if you follow my simple steps youll never want to leave school because youll get the greatest day at school e.
An easy way to be happy in school begins in the morning, when you wake up, the first thing youll do is to think what you want to achieve today, a motivation, a purpose or something like that. When you get your goal youll take a deep bath of cold water, yes, cold water:) then breakfast and get ready for school, get in the car with your best smile and when you arrive at the bus stop look for your friends to sit and talk with them during all the way to school. The idea here is to always expect something good will happens, so you will wait for that good thing to happen with a big smile and time will be spent flying.
When you arrive at school said hi to your friends, classmates and teachers. The next thing you will do when you arrive at school will be sitting in a place where you can pay attention and ask what youre gonna learn today. If you like what youre gonna learn go ahead and pay attention if you don’t, ask yourself why you don’t think what youre gonna learn is interesting? If the answer, is the typical answer of “because it is boring” then you should ask the teacher if he or she could make the lesson more interesting with dynamics or in a different way, not the usual. If the teacher is agree with your opinion then put attention!. If he or she just ignore you then payback with the same coin, ignore them but do as if you are putting attention and laugh in dead silence because even when teachers think you are inferior because you know less than them you can laugh because you know, you know equal or even more than them about other things:) wait for the recess.

The class ends and now youre free, is recess and you can do whatever you want to do, there isnt much to say here, recess time equals laughs, be happy and all that. The worst time of the day, recess ids over and you go to classes do the same stuff as in the first steps and wait for the second recess. In the second recess have fun and be happy because school is almost over. Go to your classes and wait till school is over so you can leave. Finally you go to the bus stop so you can go home. Following this steps youll be very happy in school:D. The point here is to always wait for something better to happen, no matter how big or small is that good thing youre waiting for, what matters is how happy youre while waiting for that thing to happeen

All of us know how stressing exams week is, and sometimes we simply dont have time to study. And of course, we dont want to get a bad grade dont we? The easy way to get through an exam and make sure to get a passing grade is by cheating. Yes, it may sound bad but sometimes we dont have another option, we have to cheat in order to get through. If you follow my advices you will get some nice ideas on how to achieve the easy task of cheating and you will become a master on it.

First, you may like to know what teacher is going to apply the exam so that way you can know if it will be easy to cheat on the exam. If the teacher is one of those that you can barely turn around well you're screwed but if its an easy one make sure to go to the next step. Following that think about your technique, what do you plan to do. Becuase as you may know there are several ways to do it.

Second, make your notes, in a small piece of paper with keywords that will help you remember the answer easily, make some small drawings if you wish. When you get to your classroom make sure to sit next to the intelligent one and in the back preferably so it wont be obvious that you are cheating and you wont be that stressed out.

Following that put the notes under your exams and periodically see the notes. Make sure to act naturally becuase the way your teacher wont find out that you were cheating, try to remain calm that way you will achieve your quest (lolz). When you finish put your notes in the bag of your pants or something so your teacher wont see it.

In the end, just hand in your exam and...

. If you want to call his attention, here is some tips about what you can do.
Firts, you need to make him notice you. Something that might work is to smile in a flirty way, at him when you are walking in front of him, so he will notice you and say like, 'hey that girl is pretty, i want to talk to her' or something like that. Then, if he comes to talk to you, be yourself, don't try to act in some other way to make him like you, because if he liked you at first, he liked you the way you really are.

. when u are talking to him don't forget to be confident. Boys like confident girls that are not afraid to say what they really think, girls that have attitude. After, you had become friends with him, don't be afraid to be you the one who goes and talk to him, because if you play like the hard one it's okay, but at some point he will get tired to be chasing you, he will say that if you are that difficult maube you are not worth all the chasing, and you were just a waste of time, and he will look for a girl that is not that difficult.

. when u are already kinda friends with him, start to talk with hisfriends, and be nice with them and try to make them know who you are so you can become friends with his friends so his friends will tell him nice thigs about you, and you will have their friends approval. After, that you are friends with his friends, tell them to find out who he likes, because when you like someone you always tell your friends, so his friends will tell you and if it is you, you can now think about the other step.

. Now that you know he likes you, you can tell him who you feel. If you are too shy to do this, you can give him some indirects, so he tells you he likes you first. If he doesn't react to the indirects, then you need to be direct and ask him out. If he really likes you he will say yes. But if he reacts to the indirects well then he will ask you out first. If you have good chemistry well then you will have a perfect date and you will end up together. That were just some advices about how you can call his attention, all you need to do is to be yourself, be confident and be flirty :)

Who in all honesty didnt went to school. And even in more honesty who didnt hated their homework assigmnets. Sure many of them were fun to do or at least they were in teams so you xould have a nice time doing the work. But some where weird and very tedious. You just wished that schooled never existed. But we all know that thats never gonna happen right?
The only thing to do is to learn how to do better and enjoy doing your homework assigments. And thats not that hard. Actually you will find that it is very easy and simple to do it once you have the techniche. So keep rading and you will become a master in doing your homeworks in no time.

To complete a homework assigment is pretty easy if you know hot to do it. All you need is to follow this simple steps and you will become a master in doing your homeworks and it also will help you in making you remembering stuff easier and helping you not to study a lot before an exam. It will help you memorize information a lot whole easier and it will be better than a last- minute study before an exam wich is very common in our times or isnt it?

The first thing to do is to know what are you going to do. You cant do your homework if you dont even know whats the homework for next day. Have an agenda in your school bag so you can write all the homework that the professors leave because you cant always trust your memory to remember all of the homework the professors leave in one day. So thats why its is very conveniebt to have an agenda. If you dont have an agenda well write it down on any notebook or ask a friend of your class for the homework if you forget to write it down.

After you know whats the homework, make sure to have the right materials to do your work. Like for examples, if you need cardboards or special materials that you dont have in your house make sure you buy them before doing the work so you dont get in a hurry when all the stores get closed. After you know that you have everything, start doing your work with carefulliness so you dont turn in a ugly work. Do it with time,l if you can do it a week before, do it so you dont make at the last day and dont turn in a messy, desorganized work. Because that could cause you a lot of points and maybe even fail a class if you dont do it with all the points asked.

So thats how you do a homework assigment. Be patient and do it reklaxed. If you can even put some relaxing music so you dont get frustraded when things seems not to be working. Also do it with time. So heres all the tips i can give you. Hope they work out for you, and if not write and tell me about your problems so i can see and tell you what are you doing wrong and hlp you out.

Evidently, there are lots of people around the world. All of them with different customs and traditions. The way each one dresses traditionally is different, the way they act and talk is too; not to forget the food which forms a great part of each one. Important factors as the religion and the way of living are much of an influence in each culture, which is what each group of people represents by having a symbolism and a characterized way of living that differs them from the rest of the cultures. If it wasn’t because of it, we would all be the same in some way. They say is good to interact with different people because you learn more about them.

It opens us the door to a complete new world. There is when we notice how diverse this huge world is and how much influence could some cultures have in others. Some people wonder how it would be to know others from a different culture. Others think of it as something difficult since they are completely different and because the factors that surround them make them even more like the language. But there are just some others who are open to new things in order to interact and establish relationships with those people, whatever it takes. If you’re one of these people and you wonder how to maintain those relationships then first of all you’ll need to follow these simple but effective steps.

In order to start, think of some culture you would like to know and search about it (place in general); look out for information such as the customs, traditions, religion, clothing, food, traditional holidays, etc. After this, look out for their language and learn it (at least the basic levels). After that, search for a person you would like to meet from that culture and introduce yourself (also ask for more information about them so that in that way it’s more interesting to hear it from them instead of researching). Give time to each other to know each other’s cultures so that in that way both get to know how each other live like. While you do that be sure to always be respectful and to be respected. And last but not least, have fun interacting with each other.

As you can see, maintaining a good relationship with somebody from a different culture isn’t as difficult as it seems. As long as long as you keep your interests in knowing them and with what you want to know it’s all good. You should always keep in mind to be respectful, especially with their beliefs, whether you agree with them or not. Make sure to share stuff about your culture in an interesting way so that it keeps the other person’s attention and so they respect it too. With the time you’ll take that person as an important part of your life because you’ll know that even though both are completely different, you have something to share every day and your friendship will grow stronger.   slumdog millionaire is a realistic film that shows you the life in India as it is, the movie takes you to see hundreds of children lives suffering from cruelty and bad luck, but also shows you the possibility to change destination and have a better life as jamals. jamal is a lucky boy that exceeded people's expectations at the end of the show, people think he is a fraud because they think that he had no education or by the simple fact of being a poor child shouldnt know about life. • Is ethical decision making possible when one must make choices based on survival? Do seemingly “bad” choices make a person bad?

You can't say if it's ethical or not, because when you want to survive you would do anything to stay alive, but that doesn't mean you have to hurt the other people.
Like the saying, your rights ends when the rights of the other people start.
I don't think that when you make bad decisions you are a bad person.Maybe, you didn't know that choice was the bad choice, you didn't chose that one on purpose to do bad things.

Discuss the irony in the film that Jamal “knows too much” and is suspected of cheating. Discuss the irony that in the end, his poverty may make him rich. What point is the film making? What is real wealth?

They think he is cheating because he knows every single anwsers, that he isn't supposed to know, because he is a slumdog, he didn't get alot of education.
But he knows everything because he learned it by experience.
By being poor, he needed to find ways to win some money, like giving tours around india to the turist people.
The film is trying to say that anyone can learn, that you shouldn't underestimate people.
The real wealth, isn't about money, its about knowledge.

That the culture is evolving thanks to the way we are able to know about things that happen around the world, and all of it its becuase of the media.
We are able to know what is happening miles away from us and that is very important, to be communicated.


We see the game show, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" adapted in the Indian culture. Is this a sign of progress? Why or why not?
Yes, becuase we are able to see the technology that is used on the show, and how they offer money to attract people to participate on it.


What is this film staying about the effect of money on culture?
That the people that have the money get advantage of it, they know they can get everything they wnt becuase they have money and that leads to a lot of trouble in the end.

does it mean that all Jamal desires is just out of his reach?

That life is putting him obstacles for him to overcome to see if he was fit for the destiny he had, I was also preparing him to face all of the obstacles of the movie because his destiny was to overcome them.


Greed, corruption and the misuse of power are highlighted in the film through a variety of characters. How
are those who have money and power glamorized in this film? What happens to the victims?

they are represented by pimps or by gangster who have a lot of power and the victims are represented by people who have noble life ir that never had made any damage to anyone getting killed like the mother or little kids who gets their eyes burned.

he gives him the wrong answer because he didnt wanted to give him the money because he touhgt that he was cheating . jamal didnt trusted him because he made fun of him all the show and all of the sudden he was kind to him and that seemed strange



In the final scene, we see Salim and the choice he makes - filling the bathtub with money, etc. Why does he

because he wanted to reddem himself by killing that guy but he also said that he wanted to dye with a lot of money.

It's related to how a boy that lived in extreme poverty since he was little, got to be millionaire, and all that by remembering past experiences in his childhood which worked as hints.

single-mindedness to see this movie star reveal his determination?

It reveals that his determination is so much that he would do anything to get what he wants because he knows it's worth it and that he'll be very happy to accomplish itAnother example I could remember to have seen in this movie was when he first met Latika, and after they took her away he searched for her at any cost because he really loved her.
