My band "Senur" (Bethsy)

Semur was formed on January 15th 2008. It all started becuase my best friends Andrea, Valeria and I were extremly BOOORED!!! We were at Andrea's house, when Valeria started singing all of a sudden. We didn't knew she could sing that well. We were actually very surprised on that fact, as in school she usually shouts the songs. But well, we decided to try something. I(Bethsy) have written several type of indie songs by myself a while ago. So I gave them to Valeria to sing and we were surprised how nice it sounded. Andrea had previously trained herself with the electric guitar, and I with the drums and piano, We started making really good music!!!

But of course Andrea and Valeria had different ideas of what kind of songs to write. So I started and I maked songs about boys (their favorite subject) and stuff. But of course not letting behind some rock and sad songs.

We decided to practice at Andrea's house. So we played indie, and pop rock the most.

One day we were going to give a presentation at our school. But what we didn't knew is that an agent was there. He's name was Carlos Alejandro Leon, and he was from Mexico City. Our material was mostly in english but he was really interested on introducing US in America.

So we of course agreed. We left school and moved to New York City.

Our fandom base is strongly growing, including all type of people. Preps (even though I don't like this), rockers, skaters. We are really proud that with our different styles, several kinds of people can relate to our music.

And we hope we have a long career.
