My band started at the beginning of 2009. I went to music class as usual because I always wanted to become a singer so I would go and learn. Later on I noticed my friends Viviana and Shelby used to go there as well. Viviana was learning how to play guitar and shelby was learning how to play the drums.
One day we accorded to form a band. The name we chose was "Chilla Saroda Bangar" because thats what each of our names meant in a strange language we found (Carol stands for "Chilla", Shelby stands for "Saroda", and Viviana stands for "Bangar"). I'm the singer, Viviana is the guitarist, and Shelby is the drummer, as you can see.
Our first album was entitled "Man...only five hundred", which is a way to say how many men most of the girls have to break up with by any reasons and that make them think of writing these kinds of songs. The general theme of our songs is about couples that break up, where the girl is the one who feels the most hurt and tries to deal with all that sadness and deppression somehow and just can't get over it.
"Man...only five hundred" has sold over a million copies, which really got us surprised. We hope we get to grow even more as a very popular band.
